The Evansville Childbirth Collective is an organization comprised of Doulas, other birth professionals, as well as birth activists and consumers who support evidence based maternity care.

One purpose of this group is to serve as a place for us to network within the Evansville birth community.

We  promote labor support by educating families and the birth community about the role of the Doula, as well as providing ongoing education for Doulas, and providing a way for families to locate Doulas and other birth & postpartum professionals such as Independant Childbirth Educators, Midwives, Lactation Educators and Support Groups, and Postpartum Doulas in the Evansville area.

This group is for anyone who is a childbirth professional (Midwives, Antenatal and Birth Doulas, Birth Educators and Advocates, Postpartum Doula or Lactation Educator),those who are considering becoming one, as well as anyone who is interested in promoting the health and wellbeing of mothers, of babies, and families.
